Come and find us at the library.
Our open sessions at Bishopbriggs Library are the easiest way to meet us in person. They run on the first and third Tuesday of each month, and they are exactly what the name suggests — open. No appointment, no forms, no obligation. Just come in, have a cup of tea, and have a conversation.
These sessions were how Compass started in 2017, and they remain one of the most important things we do. Some of the people who first found us at the library are now volunteer navigators themselves. The library has always been the right kind of place for this work: public, unhurried, and without any of the clinical atmosphere that can make health conversations feel higher-stakes than they need to be.
If you are not sure whether Compass is the right support for you, this is the best way to find out. We will never pressure you into anything, and you are welcome to leave the session at any point. We are just glad you came.
